The neighbourhood
Bridgeland sits above the river valley minutes from the core, with an LRT station, an independent main street and a mix of heritage homes, infills and newer condos.
The neighbourhood's Italian-Canadian roots show in its bakeries and cafés along Edmonton Trail, and the river-path connection to Prince's Island is a five-minute ride away. Redevelopment along the riverside has added newer apartment living without erasing the older streets.
